WHO WE ARE

Anchored in Truth,

Driven by Hope

Anchor of Hope Ministries serves vulnerable children, teenage mothers, elderly believers, and underserved communities across Uganda and East Africa.

Our Vision

To see lives transformed by the Gospel — broken people made whole, communities renewed, and the unreached brought into living relationship with Jesus Christ across Uganda, East Africa, and the nations.

Our Mission

To restore lives, strengthen communities, and advance the Gospel with clarity, truth, and conviction — caring for the vulnerable, equipping disciples, and faithfully fulfilling the Great Commission to the ends of the earth.

Our Six Core Values

Christ-Centered Living

Jesus is the foundation and center of all we are and do.

Grace Over Works

We are saved and sustained by God’s grace, not by our own effort.

Compassion in Action

Love that meets real needs with practical, tangible care.

Integrity & Accountability

Transparent, honest stewardship of every gift entrusted to us.

Community Transformation

Whole communities renewed by the love and truth of Christ.

Equipping Disciples

Raising up faithful followers who go and make disciples.

OUR FOUNDER’S STORY

A Heart Shaped by Hope

Pastor Martin grew up witnessing firsthand the challenges that grip underserved communities — children without opportunity, families without provision, and souls without the hope of the Gospel. Along the way, God placed people in his life who chose to invest in his future when he had little to offer in return.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him.” — Romans 15:13
That same grace grew into a deep burden for vulnerable children and a clear spiritual calling. Anchored in Romans 15:13, Pastor Martin founded Anchor of Hope Ministries to extend to others the very hope that was once extended to him.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible — both Old and New Testaments — is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, our final standard for faith, doctrine, and life.

We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in power, glory, and being.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose bodily, and reigns as Lord and Savior.

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, bringing forgiveness of sin and the assurance of eternal life.

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, convicts of sin, empowers for holy living and witness, and equips the Church with gifts for ministry.

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, build up one another, and carry the Gospel to the world.

We believe every follower of Christ is called to grow as a disciple and to make disciples, fulfilling the Great Commission near and among the unreached.

We believe genuine faith expresses itself in love — caring for the poor, the orphan, the widow, and the vulnerable as a reflection of the heart of Christ.

We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment.

We believe believers are called to lives of holiness, integrity, and love — walking in obedience to God’s Word and shining as lights in their communities.
